The Scottsman series putters were 2-piece milled putters and were entirely milled of 1018 carbon steel. According to Scotty, the name “Scottsman” was inspired by an ice making machine. While in Hong Kong, in an effort to cure homesickness Scotty paid a visit to a local pub that played American music. In the pub, he saw an ice making machine with the Scottsman name and was inspired to borrow it for a new series of putters. Less than 500 pieces of this model were made.
