From 1992 to 1993, Scotty designed putters for Mizuno. Four production models were designed for the U.S. market:
the M-100, M-200, M-300, and M-400. The M-300 was created for the PGA show in 1993 and is the rarest of the 4 models.
Bill Vogeney estimates that less than 150 of them were made and states that “The M-300 was ground by hand using the
M-100 heads. That's probably why so few were made-they took a heck of a lot more work.“
