Scotty Cameron International merged with Titleist in early 1994. During the transition Scotty, his wife Kathy and a friend, Kim Halstrom, were sitting on a park bench having lunch when the 3 decided to thank his loyal Cameron fans who had supported his private company. The AMF was born. AMF stands for Adios My Friends, a term the 3 came up with on that boardroom bench. Scotty engraved 200 Classic 1 and Classic X putters with the letters AMF on the sole, thanking the fans and giving back to all those who had supported him. This is one of the few that were done in gold paintfill as the majority of these were done with white paintfill.
